Hello lovelies, it’s Miss Lady Lace here, and today I have for you a fabulous book review on a newly released pinup book. It’s no secret that I adore images of glamorous pinup models and that I love to collect books that inspire and educate me. Every week I utilise vintage and modern books about pinups, burlesque, fashion and makeup to inspire myself and research further into my passions. Pinup books are particularly invaluable for posing inspiration, styling and performance creation in my work. Buy the book: https://www.schifferbooks.com/calendar-girls-sex-goddesses-and-pin-up-queens-of-the-40s-50s-and-60s-6697.html https://www.amazon.com/Calendar-Girls-Goddesses-Pin-Up-Queens/dp/0764357883/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=calendar+girls%2C+by+jon+ortner&qid=1582251973&s=books&sr=1-1 Today I’m so excited to be featuring “Calendar Girls, Sex Goddesses & Pinup Queens of the ‘40s, ‘50s, and 60’s”. I was recently contacted by the author Jon Ortner, asking if I’d like to receive and review this book, which was truly thrilling as I can’t say no to a pinup publication! Jon Ortner is a passionate collector and internationally acclaimed photographer and author of six books. His “Calendar Girls” book has been a huge project with many decades of collecting actual calendar and pinup prints from flea markets and anywhere else he could find them. The introduction explores the history and evolution of pinups, methods of photography and printing. It…
A well-written and measured book that takes a look at the classical world and the early years of Christianity. It also provides a good argument against the notion that Christianity itself created Western civilisation. Biology is the primary factor in the health of a civilisation (that is not to say that religion is not important). Also, do not take this as an anti-Christian analysis. ⚜High Thumos Clothing + My Book: https://legiogloria.com/ ⚜Exclusive content (+support): https://www.patreon.com/thegoldenone ⚜Svenska kosttillskott: https://jotunheimnutrition.com/ ⚜The Greatest Instagram: https://instagram.com/thegloriouslion ⚜Twitter: https://twitter.com/TheGloriousLion ⚜Telegram: https://t.me/thegoldenone ⚜Physique Manufactorum: https://thegoldenone.se/online-coaching/ ⚜Financial Contributions: PayPal to firstname.lastname@example.org or https://www.subscribestar.com/thegoldenone ⚜Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheGloriousLion ⚜ Minds: https://www.minds.com/TheGloriousLion ⚜ Gab: https://gab.ai/TheGoldenOne ⚜Legio Gloria Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/legiogloria/ ⚜Legio Gloria Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/legiogloria/ Install Brave web-browser using this link: https://brave.com/oyx768 Bitcoin: 17jScrjkFRUg9o8EVaQdz8XXkR6zU3aNMq Ethereum: 0x2626Ca8df5FCD03C079c9Bf0B583CAfdD26CaB2d Litecoin: LVbmXyg7BHdasXemyYhbSxJiXGiXYfEwMW Bitcoin Cash: bitcoincash:qrv9l4ekpper95mxq7qe3h7s6fd3vnmw7yxh48ulw6

This is the first episode of “Classic Climbing Book Review”, a new series where we’ll be taking deep dives into old rock climbing guidebooks and literature. Like most climbers I have a love for guidebooks that started when I got my very first one. Reading the stories, learning the history and getting psyched on rad photos before weekends and trips is a ritual. Similar to many things in life, the anticipation can be half of the fun. From a historical perspective, rock climbing guidebooks are time capsules from eras gone by that provide deep insights into the culture of their time, and I find that fascinating. I reached out to Todd Gordon, who has the biggest guidebook collection of anyone I know, and he graciously offered to let me borrow some of his books for the series. When I went over to his house we ended up shooting a little footage of him sharing his collection and that has become this first episode. Todd has got to be one of the nicest legends to ever do the damn thing and I can’t thank him enough for his hospitality and for sharing his collection. Here is a link where you can…

My long overdue book review of Homo Deus, the significantly less impressive sequel to Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari. I enjoyed reading the book, but further out from reading it I have increasing misgivings about how developed the ideas are, and how readily he assumes humans will adopt invasive technology. Not the easiest book to engage with, but one that will definitely spark some interesting conversation! What did you think? Let me know in the comments! Also, I know that it was the Declaration of Independence rather than the Constitution. But that Hamilton line had to stay in, so there 😛 My goodreads: https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/53209373-simon-clark Sapiens: https://geni.us/homodeusharari Homo Deus: https://geni.us/homodeusharari The Master Algorithm: https://geni.us/masteralgorithm You can support the channel by donating at http://www.patreon.com/simonoxfphys Check out my website! https://www.simonoxfphys.com/ ———- II ———- My twitter – http://www.twitter.com/simonoxfphys My facebook – http://www.facebook.com/youtubesimon My insta – http://www.instagram.com/simonoxfphys My goodreads – http://www.goodreads.com/simonoxfphys ———- II ———- Music by Epidemic Sound: http://epidemicsound.com Huge thanks to my supporters on Patreon: Alastair Fortune, Anne Smith, Ben McMurtry, Ben Taitz, bitreign33, Caitlin Louise, Charles Bray, Claire Anthony, Dan Hanvey, David Efird, Ethan Fuller, Jackson Dęborkzgórzcski, James Bridges, jawad alalasi, Julian Guggenberger, Kedar, Kendall Hendrix, Kendra Johnson, Kodzo, Lachlan Woods, Leighton Mackenzie,…

A look at an odd little UFO book that had a profound effect upon me as a child, giving me my first look at Carl Jung and an introduction to cryptids, monsters, flying saucers, and aliens in general. An attempt at a book review, but perhaps more of a discussion based in a books subject matter. This book also got me into David Bowie and the concept of Ancient Aliens.
