Because it worked out so well on Tuesday I decided to mix another discussion topic with a book review. In today’s video I wanna discuss the pressure that I, as a booktuber, sometimes feel to “deliver”—meaning, to produce the quality content that I feel like is expected of me. I would like to know if other booktuber’s feel the same way and how that plays out? And if you’re consuming booktube content (as a viewer), please let me know if you have certain expectations for certain channels only, e.g. XY is supposed to be funny in their videos or XY always comes through with the best reviews.
In the second part of the video, I review “African Expectations: Musings From Where I stand” by Mafoya Dossoumon. If you want to get more in-depth thoughts on the book, feel free to check out my review on Goodreads: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/3184356198
