Shadow of Sapiens: Homo Deus Review

February 29, 2020

My long overdue book review of Homo Deus, the significantly less impressive sequel to Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari. I enjoyed reading the book, but further out from reading it I have increasing misgivings about how developed the ideas are, and how readily he assumes humans will adopt invasive technology. Not the easiest book to engage with, but one that will definitely spark some interesting conversation! What did you think? Let me know in the comments!

Also, I know that it was the Declaration of Independence rather than the Constitution. But that Hamilton line had to stay in, so there 😛
