Book Review: U.S. Small Arms of World War II by Bruce Canfield
Video / September 24, 2020

Available direct form the publisher: U.S. Small Arms of World War II by Canfield Or via Amazon: Bruce Canfield’s newly released book, “U.S. Small Arms of World War II”, is a book that attempts to cover a huge amount of material from bayonets to mortars and recoilless rifles. Where most books of this type end up providing only a rather shallow view of a large number of subjects, what Canfield has done here is simply ignore the conventional wisdom about how long a book should be. Want to add more content? Just add more pages! The result is a huge 864-page tome that covers a large numbers of small arms in significant detail. This is not a true collectors guide (note that Canfield’s previous book – a true collector’s guide – was equally long and covered only the M1 Garand), but it is the most comprehensive and useful overview of this scale that I have found. In addition to all the typical weapons you would expect to find, this work covers a great many uncommon and rare guns, including prototypes never fielded. This includes guns like the Winchester Automatic Rifle, the M2 Submachine Gun, the Johnson M1944 LMG, and…

Book Review By Nidhi Tiwari :Pokhran a Novel by Uday Singh| must read book |Pokhran |Uday Singh
Video / September 24, 2020

Book – Pokhran Author – Uday Singh Publication – Srishti In the starting of the book, a brief description of Pokhran is given where the India’s first nuclear test has taken place. That mission was successful in the history of India. The story then moves to the main protagonist Chaitanya who was born a year after the nuclear testing. He was born with disabilities but because of his father he was able to do a lot of things in his life. Although his father was harsh to him most of the time and didn’t shower a lot of love to him but he gifted him the most precious things like mechanical arm and computer without which he might not be able to achieve such greater heights in his life. The story moves forward with the story of Chaitanya. The story of the book is very engaging and written in very simple language. It includes love, fear, suspense, a little thrill, loss, care and many emotional twist and turns. I was so engaged that I finished this book in one go. The way of narration of story is the best thing that I loved about this book. The title of the…

Factfulness by Hans, Ola and Anna Rosling | One Minute Book Review
Video / September 20, 2020

Sometimes you read a book and it changes your perspective this is one of those books. 📚 Too often we become entrenched in ways of thinking that have little or no substantial data to back them up. Whether you’re a subject matter expert or not, sometimes we can become so bogged down in the weeds we forget to look up every once in a while. 🤷‍♂️ This books addresses why this is the case. It doesn’t place blames an individuals and systems, but explains that there are instincts within all of us regardless of our relative intelligence that makes us blind to seeing the big picture of what is actually going on. 📚 I couldn’t recommend this book more highly to anyone who is looking for an interesting assessment of human psychology as well as learning a lot about how our world is progressing! 📚🙏

Capitalism and Freedom by Milton Friedman | Book Review
Video / September 17, 2020

Milton Friedman, I heard his name for the first time when I was in college form a professor, and I thought his work was something I would never read without being forced. 1. Capitalism and freedom – Capitalism is a free market – Where the best way for a person to satisfy their desires Is to create a product or service to sell to other people voluntarily – This way you get paid money, and those people get what they want and the circle continues. ( and if you use force then it won’t create any more wealth ) For example: – Henry Ford, he might have not invented for the public interest, but by chasing his personal interest – He also affects the public interest of people and you can see this happening today also The way I see it: – Capitalism is a free market of voluntary exchange with buying and selling – And the power to have a competitive market – And the ability to own private property. Freedom: – Give people the ability to do what they want as long as it does not take away the freedom of another person or hurt them – A…
