Has China Won? – Kishore Mahbubani (A Book Review & Short Summary)
Video / October 2, 2020

Kishore Mahbubani’s book “Has China Won?” urges the United States of America and the People’s Republic of China to work closer together and to develop a long term strategy. It especially calls on the American side to stop the harsh contempt, to sit down in order to rationally think about its values, role in the world and strategy in dealing with China. Mahbubani raises many interesting questions and discusses in a fair and objective way. I recommend to read it. The link to Daniel Dumbrill’s interview with Kishore Mahbubani:

Capitalism and Freedom by Milton Friedman | Book Review
Video / September 17, 2020

Milton Friedman, I heard his name for the first time when I was in college form a professor, and I thought his work was something I would never read without being forced. 1. Capitalism and freedom – Capitalism is a free market – Where the best way for a person to satisfy their desires Is to create a product or service to sell to other people voluntarily – This way you get paid money, and those people get what they want and the circle continues. ( and if you use force then it won’t create any more wealth ) For example: – Henry Ford, he might have not invented for the public interest, but by chasing his personal interest – He also affects the public interest of people and you can see this happening today also The way I see it: – Capitalism is a free market of voluntary exchange with buying and selling – And the power to have a competitive market – And the ability to own private property. Freedom: – Give people the ability to do what they want as long as it does not take away the freedom of another person or hurt them – A…

Book Review: Vickers Guide, Kalashnikov Volume 1
Video / December 21, 2019

Available direct: https://www.vickersguide.com/books I am proud to announce the newest book in the Vickers Guide series: Kalashnikov (Volume 1)! Cowritten by Larry Vickers, Rob Stott, and myself, this is a beautiful exhibition of 7.62x39mm AK rifles (smallbore AKs and other types will be covered by future volumes). If you have seen any of the previous Vickers Guide books, you know what you have to look forward to in this one – if not, prepare for the most gorgeous firearms photography you’ll see in any print book. This is intended as a coffee table display type book, but also includes a remarkable amount of relevant information about AK development and production. The first chapter on Russian guns starts with the prototype actual “AK47”, goes through the patterns of milled AKs to the stamped AKM, and on to the modern AK203 and AK15. The book then progresses to 7.62x39mm variants made by Albania, Bulgaria, China, East Germany, Egypt, Hungary, Iraq, North Korea, the Khyber Pass, Poland, Romania, Vietnam, and Yugoslavia. These include not just standard rifles, but also short barreled and LMG variations, plus grenade launchers and more. I am quite proud to have been a part of the team that created…

Her story is essential read regardless of whether you were certainly one of Jehovah’s Witnesses or otherwise. It’s a window right into a world that lots of don’t realize.
