Watchmen by Alan Moore(Book Review)
Video / April 21, 2020

This is my review on the graphic novel Watchmen, written by Alan Moore, illustrated by Dave Gibbons, and published by DC Comics. Only the first half-hour of this video is me talking about the book, the middle section of the video is a series of short reviews on this book recorded by some friends of mine. After that I talk about the 2009 film adaptation, then I cut to my friends’ reviews on the movie, then I talk about the HBO series, then I cut to my friends’ reviews on the show. Publication Date: 1986-1987 (in single magazine form) Genre: Science Fiction, Satire, Action, Mystery, Drama, Thriller Plot: Set in an alternate 1985, a former superhero turned vigilante named Rorschach investigates the murder of a superhero known as the Comedian. He believes that there is a killer picking off costumed heroes, but soon his investigations lead to a far more horrifying conclusion.
