It’s finally OUT! Here’s my full book review of the novel ‘THE FISHERMAN KING’ by a Bruneian author, Kathrina Mohd Daud. I was one of the lucky reviewers to receive this novel in advance (ARC) before it was released.

ABOUT AKHMAL AIMAN:
A creative born and raised in Brunei Darussalam who has a heart for storytelling and imagination. Akhmal has been heavily involved in the theatre industry as a producer/director, writer, performing artist and gained himself a spot as a TEDx speaker. He has directed and produced several theatre shows including TW!STED (2016), Jim Mata Buta (2017) and Red Umbrella (2017), the same year he made his debut short film ‘Nuri’. Akhmal studied Contemporary Theatre & was trained in Acting Theories at National University of Singapore (NUS) and studied English at the University of Southampton. He is a first-class degree holder in Professional Communications and the Media from Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD). This channel explores his love for books, art and travel, as well as, is his way to contribute to his country’s reading culture and creative industry.
