Should you play Guild Wars 2 in 2023? I think to answer that you must first ask yourself what you want out of a game. If the answers revolve around immersion, depth of gameplay, and simply a boatload of content, then I think the answer is yes: Guild Wars 2 is absolutely something you should play in 2023.
Bear in mind that I’m mostly a GW2 newbie, having really only played a few hours when the game first launched and then moving on until I started playing recently when I found out I could use a controller if I played via Steam. Since then, I’ve found myself enjoying Guild Wars 2 far more than I thought I would, though I am treating it as a single player RPG rather than an MMO.
Guild Wars 2 is an online role-playing game developed by ArenaNet and published by NCSOFT in 2012.
