The world Amalie Howard creates is split and sensational with political intrigue, simmering disobedience, and ancient magic that really feels active on every web page.

Viewing the triggers fly in between him and Suraya, both in their spoken sparring and undeniable chemistry, had me grinning like a bonehead. Their dynamic was so well created– equal parts stress, trust fund, and smouldering tourist attraction.
