This collection have 4 stories, and three novellas. It does begin as a really stereotyped dream and an extremely acquainted tale. The very first book was complete and quite foreseeable of the usual fantasy tropes. Yet, this collection sees an absolutely extreme rise in high quality! I think books 3 & 4 are really leading tier dream. So it’s a series that rewards you for sticking with it.
