‘Raving Fans’ written by Ken Blanchard & Sheldon Bowles.

Raving Fans is only a short book. If you speed read, you’ll knock it off in an hour. But for the rest of us I’d allow a couple.

It teaches you how to define a vision, learn what the customer really wants, and deliver systems that turn customers into raving & spending fans.

It’s clever too. It uses a fictional character called ‘Charlie’ who helps the new manager weave tips, techniques and strategies for turning his customers into raving fans.

The focus of the book is in three main areas, “decide, discover, and deliver”.

For a business book it’s an easy and entertaining read. But with some very strong and important learning’s.

We must strive to offer better service than our customers expect. But don’t just stop there, make sure you are continually improving in small manageable bite sized chunks.

Raving Fans is a great for anyone who owns or operates a small business or small organisation. And for managers & team members who are responsible for customer service within their organisation.

It’s a must read & gets a thumbs up for me.
